My Top Winter Coats
You got some great recommendations from fashion expert, Mariana Uribe, in my last post. I loved the unique brands that she offered. Here are my top picks for the best winter coats on the market this season:
Warmest: Canada Goose- Lorette Parka
Candidly, I’m not the biggest fan of Canada Goose. I have always felt like
their coats aren’t my style. But, there is something to be said about having a
WARM coat and that’s what these things offer. I like the Lorette Parka because it has some feminine and is more shape-defining. I wouldn’t normally go for a red coat but the redwood is the right tone of red for this sporty coat.
Faux Fur: Stand Official- Faustine Coat
Faux fur is so in right now and I am LOVING this glamorous trend. I love
this Stand coat because it looks so lux; some fauxs look very….faux. I love
that the belt will define your shape which is hard to achieve with thick winter coat like this. Plus, it’s warm!!
Best for Dressing-Up: Vince-Cozy Belted Long Wool Coat
This is the coat that I ultimately purchased. This is a great coat for when it’s
frigid and you’re going someone fancy and can’t throw on your puffer coat,
which is exactly what I needed. The color is perfection. The rich jewel tone
feels special but is neutral enough that it works with everything. The length
makes it super warm and the layers at the color make it extra chic. I’ve been
loving it!
