Name- Katie (Boova) Craven

  • Boova is my maiden name and while I legally let it go when I got married, I don’t really want to let it go from my rep.

Age- 31

  • My birthday is August 3, 1987 which makes (proud to be) a Leo.

Location- Philadelphia, PA

  • I have lived in Center City Philadelphia since 2013 and I absolutely love it. It’s the perfect city for me. Not as big and overwhelming as NYC but still has all of the culture and urban life that I love.
  • I grew up in the Western Suburbs of Philadelphia in Newtown Square, PA.

Education

  • I graduated from Boston College in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. I was also an Art History minor. I loved BC so much and still have a very strong and large BC network.
  • If you’re from the Philadelphia area, you know why I’m including this information:
    • I graduated from the Academy of Notre Dame de Namur in 2006. The same sentiments about BC are true about NDA!
    • From Pre-K through 8th grade I went to Rosemont School of the Holy Child. As I get older, I learn how rare it is to have friends that you have known since Pre-K but because of RSHC, I have many friends who I have known since Pre-K. I echo the same sentiments about RSHC. It’s a special place!
  • When I count my blessings, I always count my education. Not only because of what I learned inside the classroom, but because of the type of person I became as a result of each institution.

Marital Status

  • I am very happily married to my darling husband, Matt Craven. We got married on July 8, 2017 and the novelty of being married to him has yet to wear off. I am still so grateful to be married to Matt and consciously stop myself to make sure I am appreciating him and us. He’s the best.

      • My mom- she gave me my flare for style. She is chic, polished, classic and glamorous in an everyday kind of way. My mom is the ultimate accessorizer and while I am no Peg (my mom’s name), I definitely tend to dress similarly. I learned to dress up basics with good accessories from my mom!
      • My friend Kristin- You know how that “oh I just threw this on and I look effortlessly chic” look impossible to achieve? Kristin is naturally that. We dress differently- she masters everyday style whereas I love dressing up. Which is why she is always my inspiration for trying to look chic and cool every day!
